Ok, In my country this day is a simple Sunday, but I saw all your posts and felt like writing something about my dad too. Maybe we don't celebrate it here, but I'm still so damn proud of my daddy.
As any child, I want to say that my dad is the best dad in the whole world :D he is. For me.
But what I love the most about him is that we have so many things in common and that he has taught me a lot. First of all my dad has taught me how not to be a wimp. I can stand up for myself, fight my own battles and I'm not afraid of challenge. The other thing is my love for sports. I think I got that from him too. Now we always watch hockey together, we both like cars, adrenaline, parties and beer, lol. We both also have amazing sense of humor. We have like our own inside jokes and I can always laugh with and about him and sometimes it just makes my day.
The only thing I haven't got from him is his love for work :D My dad is so hardworking. He will do anything that is needed to be done.
I, on the other hand, am totally lazy :D but if we are both together, we make perfect balance.
I have always been daddy's girl and I like it. Yeah I wish I had such a bond with my mom also, but it's different with her. Our relationships are great, but it's not the same. But I like it just the way it is. Even in parties I usually sit at the men table, lol.
So as every child, my dad is my hero. I can only learn from him, and I love him very much. So happy father's day :)

ReplyDeleteGlad you came over and read my nonsense! lol I see ABBA is back visiting you as well. I'm just gonna sit here and dance for minute before I'm off again. Funny story when my youngest was 5 he used to sing "You are the Dairy Queen!" I laughed so hard. I was disappointed when he figured out the right words. :)
